Someone has sent me this wonderful information on the 1910 census below.
Edith born 1895 was my husband's grandmother.
I am wondering does anyone know anything about this WALTERS FAMILY. ie. when
they came to Ramsey County, the town in Ontario Township where they lived,
when they left, did any of them die there. I want to know everthing but will
be 'over the moon' with just one bit of information.
I do know Emma was a widow in 1920 and living in Spokane, Washington. I know
a son Herbert Otto was born in North Dakota in 1901. There is a son William
as well who was probably born after the 1900 census or he could be Paul as I
have not heard of Paul.
Census 1900 in Ontario Township, Ramsey County, ND.
Charles Walters, head, May 1852, born Germany,
Emma Walters, wife, May 1867,
Paul Walters, son, April 1888, Germany
Laddy Walters, daughter, Dec. 1889, born Pennsylvania
Earnest Walters, son, Aug. 1892, Pennsylvania
Edith Walters, daughter, Nov. 1895, Pennsylvania
Clara Walters, daughter, Aug. 1898, born North Dakota
Charles listed his occupation as farmer. He, Emma and Paul listed their year
of immigration to the U.S. as 1889. Charles and Emma were married 11 years
and she had six children, five still living.
