I am looking for Dr. Charles Davenport who lived in Devil's Lake, ND in 1923.
His parents were George and Hannah(Rhoades) Davenport of Conneautville,
Crawford County, PA. He also had a brother, Lewis, who lived in Fargo, ND
and a sister Mary Eva who lived in PA in 1923 but soon after moved to Kansas.
Any information on this family would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Betty
Penn, according to the GNIS, was originally named Lauren for the
townsite owner, renamed Penn for English stockholders. Penn is in Coulee
Township. Check the 1900 Census Index for Ramsey County available in the
NDGenWeb Archives under Coulee Township. I believe you will find William
A. Schultz there.
