Dear Listers; Sorry, All FTM Official Guides were given away overnite. Hopefully perhaps someone else will respond that have copies laying around they are no longer needing. Thanks for the keen interest, better than the Recycle Box for something that can be useful to someone.

Dear Listers; Does anyone want a copy of the Family TreeMaker Official Guide for Version 10, Version 11, Version 2005. Send name and mailing address and I will forward copy you need, no charge. First request gets the copy desired. Thanks. Clarence Janke of Alberta, Canada
Hello: Just trying this. Helping a neice find a little more about her family. Her grandfather was William Howard Barnes b ca 1927-28 at Crosby, N.D. Believe his Mother was Mary E. Barnes, an adopted daughter of John H. Barnes and wife Mary F. We found them in the 1930 census of Frazier Township, Divide Co. ND. Evidently William Howard was born out of wedlock so when we went to the capitol in Bismark they wouldn't let us have the birth record due to a state law concerning unwed births. Wonder if anyone happened to know the Barnes family and could point us toward anyone that might know a little more about William Howard Barnes, his parents and ancestry?? The application for births says only the parents or the person can get a birth record involving unwed parents except by order of a court of appropriate juridiction. Has anyone tried to get such a birth record and what basis would a court even consider granting a request. Many thanks for any info. Regards- Bill in!
