Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I am looking for info on my GGrandfather's brother, Anders Lindberg
and family. He was born in Stange, Hedmark, Norway 15 Jan 1861 as
Anders Martinussen. Later Anders Martinussen Sorholte. He emigrated
to the US in June of 1906, destination North Dakota. His son Martin
follows 2 months later while his wife and remaining children follow the
next year, his first daughter, Anna, came in 1905. I have found Anders
and some of the family in the 1910 census in Williams county, Township
161 N, Range 101 W. I have found a land patent from 1909 to Andrew M
Lindberg, Township 161 N, Range 101 W, Southwest quarter of Section 33.
I cannot find Anna, Martin or Julie in the 1910 Census. And, from
that point on, I cannot find anybody. Nothing (that I can find) in the
1920, 1930 Census. Poof! Gone! Back to Norway? Up Canada way maybe?
Any Lindbergs in your area Mr. Lien? Or, maybe they just did not make

Beginning to look for Olaf Johansen Lindberg, left Norway may 1910, for
New York, partial manifest @Ellis Island.
And of course, descendants of my GGrandfather Emil Lindberg, Chicago
area, 1890s to 1950s, then everywhere.
