Denise,
Oh goodie! You are now closer to my area. Rockingham is not my direct line
but I do have a lot of interest in some of the families and it touches
Caswell Co. (my page), Alamance (my home) and Guilford where the majority of
the people live that I have the most interest in. I will see what format is
used on the Rockingham page and send you a few items. I have one Bible
record you might like to post.
Nola

Subject: [NCGENWEB-DISCUSS] Census Indexes Online
Okay, I was probably the last person on earth that didn't know
these were
online, but S-K Publications has a lot of the earlier Indexes posted
online on their site. Here is the NC page:
http://www.skcensus.com/census/nc/
Also, for any of you that haven't discovered Linkpendium yet, they don't
cease to surprise me with links I didn't know about for my own counties.
Here's the NC main page:
http://www.linkpendium.com/genealogy/USA/NC/
Just thought I'd share.
As an FYI - I've taken over the Rockingham County site from Darleen. It
was on my wishlist, as my SIMPSON line is from there. Darleen did a great
job with it, but diving in like this gives me a good chance to learn more
about this and related lines. The homepage hasn't changed - so no need to
update links or anything. But don't hesitate to stop by for a look and
give me some constructive criticism! It is still a work in progress
though, so go easy on me! <G>
