Thankee kindly, Denise <g>. I'm looking forward to continuing with the
AB! And I'm very glad that there were only two of us in my "category,"
so I can relax instead of having to sweat through a run-off election
<g>.
But, as you rightly point out, as a group we aren't really done with the
elections yet. Our region will be participating in a run-off for the CC
representative position. This is one of the people that is representing
us, so I hope everyone will carefully consider the candidates, and then
not only make your decision about who you believe is best, but make your
decision count and cast your vote!
I'll add my two cents to Denise's. Having worked with Linda on the AB,
I have the highest respect for both her abilities and her work ethic.
She considers both sides of the issues, and looks carefully at the facts
before making a decision -- and that's quite a fine trait to have on the
AB!

Well - A BIG CONGRATS to our Angie is in order! It looks like
the vote was close and both candidates would do well, but I'm
happy to have Angie on the board myself.
It looks like the vote for our CC representative was even
closer. As you can see from the below, there will be a
run-off election for CC rep. Just to put in my two cents
worth, I've served on the board for the last year with Linda
Blum Barton and she is a wonderfully committed and giving
person. Given the closeness of this race, I would say that
every vote will count and I would encourage all of you to vote
in the run-off election. And in case you can't tell, I'm
voting for Linda.
