The ncgenweb site appears to be intermittent over the last few
days. I was doing updates to my page yesterday and noticed that
when I tried to pull existing pages, they would not come up. One
page I tried at least 3 times and it finally came up. I'm simply
browsing this morning and I notice the same problem. The site won't
come up...and then it will. This is not an issue with my ISP
because I work from home and I have not had any issues with my
connections there. Any ideas?

Jason,
If you have had pages on the web for any length of time, you will
have experienced "periods of difficulty, even under RootsWeb." I am
currently utilizing four different servers for my pages and, thus
far, all have had outages at one time or another; either due to back
ups, upgrading server software, fires (yup, believe it or not) or
transferring data to other servers. Unless it's an emergency, I
usually wait a couple of hours and 99% of the time, things return to
normal. When they don't, I write to tech support.
In order to save Nola, our benefactor, the hassle of writing to the
provider, I believe the tech support address is: support(a)bluehost.com
Nola, correct me if I'm wrong.
Right now my personal server has been down for two days. I have found
that the ncgenweb.us server is a lot more dependable than mine.
