Good to have you back on line. I don't always read all the
posts but figured you had weathered it out. How are Jeff

Greetings everyone - from Houston!
I believe Paul told the list that I was weathering the storm in Houston, He
kindly called me the night it was coming through - before the entire city
lost power. Thankfully, a friend camped out for 2 days at a motel 25 miles
south of where I live so I only had to spend 2 nights without power before I
was able to get to comfortable quarters. I was able to return home last
night but only got internet service back late this afternoon. I don't know
how many are still without power but everyone I have been able to contact by
cell phone is still in the dark so I was indeed very fortunate to be able to
return home so soon. Fortunately, I sustained zero damage beyond a freezer
full of spoiled food.
I will catch up on all my e-mails that made it through but it seems that the
e-mails I do have only started yesterday or perhaps the day before so I am
sure many have bounced. Still, I think I have about 300+ to wade through.
My own server is at a friend's house and he is still without power.
Fortunately he was able to move the e-mail server this afternoon. It may go
down again since it will have to be moved again once he gets power back
unless he brings it to my house.
As soon as I can catch up on e-mail, I will be back in touch with everyone.
Thanks!
