I am confused, I went to the revote page and voted but I have a lingering
question.
Did a few people indicate the process was for us at NC to vote whether to
have a revote? I didn't see any formal issuance of an invitation or voting
place to decide to have a revote, just informal chit chat about it since
there is no official statement on the subject. Then I turned around and was
issued a URL to revote.
I went to the vote page and voted, but thought it was clearly very odd to do
so since, as I understand it from the missives, that there is nothing
mandating such anywhere from what was said.
Did somehow I miss getting the URL to issue a formal vote on the revote? Or
did I just miss a few e-mails on the original matter? Somebody in authority
have a statement on this?
I think if there is a revote it needs to have a consensus to even revote if
not mandated in the BC bylaws, etc. If no formal issue was ordered to decide
to do this, then who is deciding this? Why are we doing this?
