I personally believe that a run-off is unnecessary, since NCGW doesn't have
by-laws in place requiring an absolute majority over a simple majority in a
vote. And to be technical to the point of silly, it actually has to be
determined *before* a vote whether to hold a run-off in absence of an
absolute majority (and *that* particular vote has to be a 2/3 majority
unless it's in place in the by-laws, which we don't have), so in theory, we
couldn't vote now to have another vote. But all that aside, if it will
settle the matter once and for all, then by all means, set up the run-off
and get on with it <g>.
