Hi Debi,
Are you referring to me in the email below?
If so I should say that I helped Jim set up and maintain his project but
that wasn't my baby at all. I can't take any credit for it. Jim being the
wonderful man that he is did want me to co manage it but I didn't have the
time to really do too much for the project so I offered my help on the web
pages. I am one for being affiliated with as many projects as you can be to
help awareness for the county pages so "cross affiliation" doesn't bother
me
at all. Speaking of John, I do know John and have worked with him before,
even spoken to him on the phone once or twice. I don't personally agree with
some of the things that John stands for but I still respect him alot.

Unless things have changed recently, John isn't the head of or
working for
UHGN, a project started over a year and a half ago by Jim Houpe and one of
our own NC CCs.
USGW.Org just hosts the website like RootsWeb does for
USGenWeb and our NCGenWeb.
I don't know John personally. I have exchanged a few emails with him when
I
obtained webspace from
USGW.org for some county pages I was doing. I
haven't
read his or any body else's campaign pages yet to know what you
find
dislikeful about him running for office. I do know I find Richard
Harrison
an extremely unlikeable person and wouldn't vote for him if my
life
depended
upon it. I don't know who Richard Pettys is at all. But with
all the
recent
BS in GA recently, I wonder if he is involved in any way with
grievances
filed by John Rigdon there.
