I think what Nola may be trying to point out is that you may not have
all the information. The CC involved is free to say whatever she
wishes, and disclose as much -- or as little -- of what has happened.
But because this is a personnel issue, the SC & ASCs are not free to
discuss the situation.
You say that "fair is fair." With that in mind, it's not fair to make
statements that amount to a public accusation of bias or wrong-doing by
the SC/ASCs when we can't defend ourselves. (I have no idea why you
would bring the board into it.)
This isn't a matter of someone not meeting the standards of the SC. The
project guidelines are on line at
http://www.rootsweb.com/~ncgenweb/volunteer.html. It's the same
guidelines that have been in place for years, discussed and voted on by
NCGenWeb CCs long before I ever adopted a county here. If you're aware
of a county or counties that aren't being maintained or updated, please
let me, Nola, Paul or Denise know off-list.

Nola, You asked me if I knew anything about the CC of
Beaufort, which I
don't. I consider ALL CC's my friends, I only knew that her
name was Sarah. I
am sorry if this has offended you, but Nola, fair is fair, I
don't care who it
is. You know yourself, that I don't meddle into others
problems, but this
is different. This could happen to any CC that doesn't meet up to the
standards of the SC, the ASC, or the board. I am always for
the underdog, especially
if it is an unjust decision.
