Do I have to prove to you too that I wasn't the only one posting on that
list about all those controversial issues. I have proven it already to
Bridgette. You are singling me out when your accusations are unfounded.
You prejudices shows itself --when all the other post went unnoticed and
your only saw mine.
And it is certainly not true that no one else thinks the way I do. It is
interesting the way like thinkers find you when you express yourself openly.
Sorry, but I am not by myself. <G>
Instead of suggesting I quit and go elsewhere, and instead of complaining
about how tired you are of the dribble ,dribble, dribble, why don't you unsub
yourself form the Discuss List or are you one of those who only want to hear
discussion from only those you agree with. Quit being a hypocrite. Why are
you subbed to this list if you are so tired.?

voting
This is just my personal views as a CC...I have never thought that we
[NCGenWeb] are in any way being threatened with a take-over by our host,
rootsweb. If Diane feels that way, then maybe she needs to go elsewhere,
because it looks as if no one else thinks the way she does about the whole
issue. The CC's who participated in the voting process were voicing their
desires loud and clear...the ones who didn't vote, voiced theirs
too..apparently not seeing a need to even bother with the issue or simply
wanted to continue to host a county without all the politics getting in the
way.
And I've never felt there was a need to have a unique domain name...people
find us very easily on rootsweb. Files are archived without any problems or
worries that they will not be there tomorrow or next week FREE to
researchers.
Being harassed with messages about how we were forced into a vote, before
adequate discussion is ludricous...I am tired, tired, tired of seeing the
same dribble and would love to have it put to rest.
Elizabeth has bent over backwards to accommodate Diane and her
opinions...Elizabeth has persistently followed the chain of command in
handling the issue, always gave us all the information she had available to
her, and we had ample opportunity to discuss it. Diane is the one who
continued to post to the wrong list, and finally just drove all of us
BONKERS with it. If she had waited for the discuss list, then maybe we
would
have been willing to talk more..as it was, I know I was SICK of seeing
it
by
then and wanted to vote and get it over with!
my two cents as a CC for NCGenWeb,
Just so you'll know...I've going to work, so I want see any replies until
late, late tonight.

PS. Elizabeth, to continue to discuss and vote again, because one person is
dissatisfied with the outcome and she didn't even VOTE the first time is
simply bending over too far for that person, in my opinion.
