Sharon,
Why don't you make announcements to us as to what cc's come and go? We all,
pretty much, have links to our neighboring counties, and some of us list the cc who
maintains the page, so it IS useful information. And beyond that, it seems to me it would
be the courteous thing to do to let us know about changes. And it certainly would be the
courteous thing to do to introduce new cc's as they come into the project.
WHY don't you want us to know? I just don't understand and it is really starting
to bug me that we are kept sooooo in the dark. I am sure you must have your reasons.
Would you please share them?
Elizabeth made frequent and regular announcements to us about the cc's coming and
going into and out of the project, as well as other concerns. If it weren't for the
uploads-to-the-archives announcement and an occasional notice forwarded off the state
coord list, we wouldn't hear from you. And you wouldn't even be posting the
archives uploads if the main list had not been taken off-limits to anybody else posting.
I can find at least 8 ballots we took on how to organize ourselves during Elizabeth's
2-year term as state coordinator. In your term, the ONLY ballot we have taken was the
mandatory one as to whether or not to give you another year. I can't deny that we are
still going as an organization but it sure feels like the Dark Ages. I know I'm in
the dark as to anything that is going on. As a group organizing itself, I know of no
progress we have made. (Where does that trademark thing stand, anyway?)
We never got any by-laws drawn up but we were deciding some rules for ourselves. Now, I
don't know how we are operating. Are you still following those rules we voted on? If
anything outside of those bare-bones rules we established comes up, who is deciding how to
proceed?
I think I deserve, and know I would appreciate, a response to these questions.
