Two points.
First, I am distressed, Derick, that you refer to the history and the
*votes* of NCGenWeb as the "murky past."
If the word MURKY is distressing, perhaps it was the wrong word to use.
Three years ago the decision to deny the vote to these two projects was
made. I believe that it is time to revisit this subject.
Second, and perhaps more important:
I think a review of our history, the vote we took, and the reasons we took
it, need to be sent out over the NCGenWeb-L list.
The archives are available to anyone choosing to read through them. I am
merely presenting a forum for discussion.
When everyone has had the opportunity to provide feedback, I will ask Angie
Rayfield conduct whatever process necessary to either bring discussion to
an end and conduct an election or suspend any action on the matter.
I am not a parliamentarian and seek only to provide equality to each of our
Project volunteers. This matter would probably not have arisen had I not
reviewed the voting list that was recently sent out. If anyone would like
to discuss this matter on this forum, your comments are welcome.
I will certainly abide by the will of the membership.
