I agree with Joel. There may be several areas of NC associated with the
Palatines, but I know that the area around Rowan/ Lincoln Co/ old Tryon
Co./ is one.
I know the Palatines in NC are often associated with the Lutheran
denomination.....which is not to say that's necessarily the only church
they're associated with, nor to say that all Palatines were Lutheran.
All I know is Lutheran and Palatine often "go together" in NC, at
least. ;-)
