Exactly what part of the subject header -- which clearly states the
issue being discussed -- does this address, Derick?
Do you believe our project's state site belongs to whomever is
serving as SC, to change or move to another server or domain, solely
at his/her discretion? Do you believe our state web site no longer
belongs to our collective membership? Surely you have an opinion on
the actual issues and aren't solely fixated on me.
I've re-read the archives of the past two weeks (and sure hope
everyone else will), and there's not a single message from me that's
not issue-focused. Then there's this series of other messages, which
consist solely of personal attacks upon me accusing me of everything
under the sun other than what I'm doing, which is raising and
focusing on *issues*.
The list archives on this thread begin here:

After a while it begins to look like a concerted effort to divert
attention away from the issues. Why?
Derick, your message is over the top, I'm afraid, and surely you know
is a waste. You've always defined _anyone_ whose views departed from
yours as "disruptive." But after all these years of ranting at me,
you're bound realize how much attention I don't pay to you. :-)
This is, after all, the optional discuss list. What that means is you
don't have to subscribe to it. If you're not interested in the
discussion, you can just unsub, preferably before you have an
aneurism. Alternately, you can just delete whatever isn't of interest
to you. Or, and here's a novel idea, you could even participate in
discussing the issue (refer to the subject header).

Sandy,
At one time, I thought that you posed a disruptive voice in our
project. I tried, in every case, to give you the benefit of the doubt.
You always seemed to have different opinions than those posed by
our elected officers and those who offered their public opinions.
As we all know, our Project has grown and prospered as a result of
diverse opinions.
When I was the NC State Coordinator, I could always count on you to
offer alternative courses of action. During that brief stint as SC,
I seriously considered every single suggestion that you and others
made. And now, after seven years, I know that the present
leadership has patiently listened to your comments and suggestions.
During my tenure as SC, the NCGWP was faced with turmoil from folks
who masqueraded with false identities. The cliche they embraced
seemed to harbor a desire to take over the NCGWP for their own
selfish gains. As a historian and genealogist who had no desire to
engage in the politics of filibuster, I acted to eject those who
posed a risk to our Project through overt and covert attacks,
virulent actions and divisive dealings. I'm sure you know of whom I
speak.
We have one-hundred counties in our great state of North Carolina
and their CC representatives, as well as those representing several
defunct counties. I have not witnessed any other County
Coordinators express the disharmonious postings on the NCGENWEB-
DISCUSS list as I have witnessed from you.
I have been patient, as have been the majority of subscribers to
this list. The time comes when we all would like to say, "Enough is
enough." Sandy, as long as I have known you, I have attempted to be
helpful to you. I have supplied you with valuable genealogical
information, as well as replying to you in a civilized manner.
It seems that whenever any particular topic pops up on the Discuss
list, you try to impose your personal views to the point of tedium.
I suppose that any association of adults must contend with a
miniscule minority of contentious individuals. Whether your ego is
satiated by your whinings or whether you choose to oppose majority
opinion to satisfy your disruptive nature, I don't know. As long as
you have been associated with the NCGWP, you have been disruptive
and have been a pimple on the backside of progress.
I wish I could be more diplomatic but the truth is the truth.
Sandy, if our NCGW Project exhibits the many flaws you are so eager
to point out, it may be time for you to find an another avenue to
vent your complaints.
As for one, I am tired of hearing your tedious complaints. I am
sure that the membership of our Project shares my opinion.
