It was posted to my county's query board, too, and I've deleted it.
What bothers me even more is the specificity used, including this
man's service number.
I'm more than a bit suspicious of somebody who only identifies
him/her SELF as "Ralf" with an email addy like
<mail(a)ralf-distler.de> (is that even a legit addy?)
YET, gives out some guy's FULL name, AND armed forces service number,
for petesake.
I'm no rocket scientist, but somethin' just ain't"quite right"
here,
folks. ;-)
There's absolutely no telling what story may be behind a message like this one.
We have no way of knowing whether the person being sought even IS
anyone's father, let alone the father of the person posting the
message.
Issues of privacy, not to mention possibly false accusations could
be involved.
I discovered a message just last week that someone had posted in a
guest book of mine under the header "seeking my daddy".....it gave
this man's full name, last known address, description,e tc.
Then, in the header where the poster fills in his/her name and
location, the person had entered a name, but in "location" had posted
"in my mommy's stomach."
Good grief!
I don't want to have to fool with trying to figure out whether
somebody's on the up-and-up, or might be up to no good. ;-) Besides,
sure as I decide they're okay, they'll turn out to be some
axe-murderer or something.
I say delete that sucker. ;-)
