Just thought I would add to this information, in case others have not heard...
I am told by the director of the nearby LDS Family History Center
that soon we will be able to order films ONLINE !
I'm sure this will still be the same type of arrangement - that we
will order the films, but they will be delivered to the FHC for
viewing there.
Still, it will be very nice to be able to order from home, rather
than having to make a trip to the FHC solely to order.
I don't recall her telling me a timeframe for when this is scheduled
to begin, so suggest we all keep an eye on the FamilySearch website
for details.
Anyway, I thought it was pretty good news. ;-)
