HEY! I didn't know that - and I am a Matel stockholder and FTM users... :-)
how great that is - y'all buy lots of Barbies and FTM CDs this Christmas now
ya-hear...
That slight sarcasm aside - it seems to me that NCGenWeb has a real issue
developing here with the use of
NCGenWeb.org domain.
Just an idea - has anyone asked the domain registrar of record to revoke the
registration of
www.NCGenWeb.org on grounds of blatant abuse of an
"organizational name in use" -- it is done from time to time.... While you
may register any domain name you want to - the registrar has the right to
revoke the registration when it is shown to be infringing. I could register
www.RedCross.org if it weren't already registered - it wouldn't take long
before they took it away from me though. We're not talking here a name like
www.genealogy.net which is general in nature - we're talking a specific
organizational name - NCGenWeb which the registrant is/was fully aware is in
use. Also, if this hasn't been brought to the attention of USGenWeb yet - it
is time.
