Pure slander Derick !!! You slander me!!!! You are a disgrace to the
project!!
You purposefully are deceiving anyone who will listen to you. I already
know that you slander me in private to new members of this project. You
call yourself a Christian?? You kid yourself.

Diane
This will be the last distractive post I will respond to publicly as I
disagree with your claim that this list, "was given to us for politics and
that sort of discussion." If I survive my first year in this position, I
will NEVER use this list nor allow it to be used for political purposes.
You may think in your own mind that I am on a power trip. You will never
again be as wrong.
>Derick, the only one causing chaos around the discussion list is you.
You
>keep coming at my from out of the blue. What is the matter with
you??
>The discuss list was given to us for politics and that sort of
discussion.
>You can not censor it.
I have absolutely no intention of sinking to the level of your hysterical
and juvenile accusations. I have more important things to do. Most of
which
are centered on growing and nurturing this Project. Sadly, I wish I
could
say that I remember a single positive recommendation you have made for the
good of this Project.
>You have complete control over the input to the CCs via the Require
list.
Absolutely nothing could be further from the truth! I am limited to what I
can post. Since discord has driven more than half of our volunteers from
the Discuss list, I am relying on folks on the Discuss list to re-post to
those who sadly remain in the dark about your antics. A previous
inadvertent post to the mandatory certainly didn't go unnoticed by you!
>This list was given to the CCs, and as long as i do not call people
names, i am within my rights.
Perhaps you would like to provide the REAL story of how the Discuss List
originated. I have the archives! You really enjoy pushing the envelope.
How
many messages would you like me to produce to refute your claim?
> I responded in a completely
>respectful way to the person who used this list to attack and insult my
>mother!!!! But yet you don't want to see that! Unprovoked, Angie joins
in
>the attack against me, but you think that is okay too.
>You write to me *privately and attack me about a letter that was NOT
sent
>to you.
Old timers will recognize this as a reprise of your earlier antics, back
in
1998, and again in 2000. One begins to wonder how many folks, with
good
consciences, will choose to cast their lot on the side of confusion and
anger.
>You *accuse me privately of saying things i did not say. I did not
respond.
I gave you an opportunity to become a TEAM PLAYER. Perhaps that goes
against your grain and that is why you refused to respond.
>Now you follow with this one on the public list !!! It is obvious that
you
>have plans to *railroad me out of my counties.
Diane, you have every opportunity to provide and expect the same benefits
and opportunities as every other NCGW volunteer. You have the right to
your
pages and the Project respects and appreciates all the work you have
done.
Nobody will dispute that.
If you are able to function within an organization without disrupting
operations, you are more than welcome to participate. As I said before, if
you find yourself unable to accept our Project as a determined and
functioning organization, you are free to pursue your online genealogical
expertise in other venues particularly in those whom you seem to display
prominently on your pages.
>You my dear sir & Angie are the ones keeping this list in an uproar. You
>are the one calling yourself a leader, and attacking the CCs for trying
to
>welcome and assist new CCs.
If it were not for your motives (most of these CC's you mention have
provided us with their evaluation of your motives) such "help" would be
more than gladly received.
>You are the one causing the emotions to be raw
If that were the case, I should be receiving a flood of mail telling me
so.
So far, everything I have received has been encouraging and
positive.
>on this list talking about things that are completely bazaar &
unfathomable.
>It would seem that by writing me privately, and then when i
ignored it,
you
>had to continue the attack here on this list. You are abusing
your
position
>and i consider it harassment.
Diane, you bring the word " harassment" to a new level.
>Why don't you try leading by setting a good example and quit harassing
the volunteers.
Please give me an idea of how many folks you are talking about. You are
the
only person to accuse me of harassment. If anyone on this list or in
the
Project feels I am harassing them, I urge them to contact me immediately!
>I am going to CC this to some of the AB.
Don't bother. I'm sending it to ALL of them
>For the record, i made a reply to
>each 3 emails by others over the period of about 3 days. They has been
>nothing more from me.
Could be for the same reason that I don't intend to continue these
back-and-forths.
This is the last you will hear from me unless a miracle occurs.
>I have the right to respond to mail and to attacks against me. And i did
so with composure.
Yes you do. Since you were put on read-only status by me two years ago, it
seems you have not learned much during that time. I will no longer be the
fall guy for your accusations. I'm sure that somebody on this list will
make a motion to have you placed on READ-ONLY status. There might even be
someone that will second the motion. Hopefully, we will operate in a
democratic way -- a way that you and your NCROOTS partners accused us of
ignoring.
>*blind copies to several AB members.
>Diane
*Sighted copies to folks who care about the future of the USGenWeb
Project.
Cordially,
--Derick
