And herein lies the problem, Terria.
From the moment you entered NCGenWeb, you have constantly and
consistently disagreed with "the leadership" - which, to date, totals
three different, successive leaderships - i.e. Elizabeth's, then
Sharon's, now Derick's. After awhile, this begs the question of who has
a problem - our leadership or you?
While none of the three SC's may have been your candidate of choice,
each was voted into office by our NCGenWeb membership. Each one has
brought her/his "own style" of leadership and management into the
office - and it's doubtful that every single volunteer in the project
has agreed (or ever would agree) with every single element of any one of
their leadership/management styles.
But not fully agreeing with someone else's style doesn't mean there's a
crisis at hand, or that someone's plotting to form some sort of personal
"empire" or to take away volunteers' "rights." ;-)
I think most of us fully understand that participation in NCGenWeb is
purely voluntary. We can continue our websites and pages outside of the
project, if we so choose, and the sky surely won't fall, nor the world
come to an end.
I do find it unfortunate that whenever you fail to get your way, you
choose to criticize the entire NCGenWeb Project to any and every
available forum - or, as you so aptly put it, "give you as much negative
publicity as I possibly can."
But, as always, this, too, shall pass. The sky won't fall, nor the world
come to an end.

It is a shame that a CC cannot have a voice in this project that is
different from the leadership. I have tried my best to be nice to
others
in this project when I have constantly been attacked because my views
differed from the leadership. Well I am so angry and to the point of
saying
something not very nice to
all of you! Genealogy is supposed to be fun and you all have made it a
job! A miserable one at that!
I can just hear the chat now, "one down, one to go." Isn't that what
the
leadership thinks? Well go ahead, laugh at how you ran a dedicated
volunteer out of the project and I really do hope you will be proud of
yourselves! I feel sorry for those CC's that only want to do their
pages
that are left behind because they don't have a clue of whats happening
to
them. Their rights are being taken away, soon they won't have a vote on
anything but national. But then that is what the leadership wants, an
empire built by Lord Derik! It isn't what genealogy is all about
folks.....get a life! I know I will sure have less stress in my life
after
today!
Believe me, I will give you as much negative publicity as I possibly can
for all the grief you have given me! Enjoy your empire folks.....
Sincerely!!!!!
