Last I heard, USGenWeb wasn't actually incorporated in any form, let
alone as a 501(c)(3).
By all means, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think
USGenWeb has a bank account OR a tax-exempt number. Not sure we even
exist in the "legal" business or nonprofit sense. I think the
project more or less "self-describes" itself as "non-commercial,"
for want of a better description.
If the festival you're interested i requires an organization to
provide its tax-exempt IRS number (typically considered "proof" of
non-profit status), then you may be out of luck.
