Hi Joan. The MTGenWeb logo you are using was designed by me. Anyone is
welcome to use the logo I designed until a new one is agreed upon. I tried to
attach the logo, but it didn't go through the rootsweb mail server. So if anyone
wants to use it please go to the Yellowstone County GenWeb and scroll to the bottom and do
the
"right-click and save" thingy. It's not transparent because the dark
lettering was
jagged when I tried to make it transparent.
Here is a link to the Yellowstone County site:

Pardon me for not participating in the discussion sooner, but I was on holiday
and when I got home was immediately iced & snowed in with all the fun stuff that
goes with it (no power - electricity is our friend <g>). A couple of items: 1. A
while back Patti Easton put together a Montana picture section that is part of
the state web site. There are lots of good pictures on it. Can they be used in
other things? 2. Again, a while back Ann Kramlich did an outline of the state of
Montana with a picture in it. As a matter of fact, you can see it on the Montana
Photo Archive page. She sent me the instructions for changing the pictures,
which I haven't figured out yet. Is this what anyone had in mind? Also,
somewhere on a website is a topo map of the state of Montana with Montana GenWeb
on it, which I'm using on my Sweet Grass County page.
Ideally, I'd like the outline of my counties with a transparent background -
whatever we use state and county, I'd like a transparent background.
