Because of the vast differences in landscape from east to western
Montana, no one picture could encompass it all. I like the idea of
pictures of buffalo, horses, deer, mountains and prairies, Yellowstone
and Glacier parks, which would mean several photos. Pictures of farms
would be good, but the farm land is rapidly being developed. Farm
pictures might be good for a historical record of what used to be.
I really hate to put up a pictures of the Bitter Root valley for
more people to see. Most of western MT has been deluged with people
moving in because of the rural setting and the mountain beauty, so I
don't want to encourage more people to come - we have too many people
already, and they are still arriving, and building, and building, and
building.
I guess I'm an embittered native Montanan who hates to see our way
of life change (for the worse) and don't want to do anything to speed it up.
