I am in the process of scanning some annuals and I have a couple of
questions to ask of people who have already done this.
One question is do you also scan the advertisements at the end of the book?
Do you scan the in between pages like Seniors and Etc?
I also noticed that they have snaps and they do not bother to put who the
pictures are of and that is too bad as I can't even remember who they all were
of my annual.
Also this is the reply I received from the Newspaper in Lewistown, do you
think we should use the obits? I would say lets use them but I would like to
bounce some ideas off about them.
As for your collection of obits, I suggest you go ahead and use them as
you wish, I can't see anyone getting
hurt by that and I suppose there is some benefit. You might need
permission from the families and not necessarily the
newspaper. Though they were printed with us the family gave us the
information and we used there words not ours.
I can give you permission to use newspaper stories that we have written,
but obits come to us from the family or the
funeral homes, maybe both. But you might want to seek some other
permission. I do not know what authority I would
have over items that belong to one kin.

I also think it is a good idea to put some kind of a bio on our county
pages. You may be surprised that some people you use to know would contact you. I
have found this with the WorldConnect family tree I have listed. I think Ann
and I are both going to do this.
