Hi Nathan,
I know that there are times that the EC cannot handle an SC election due to their
work load.
Another method for holding an election that has worked well in other states is to ask on
the State Coord list, for a couple of vote counters. Those people should have no
connections to the state in which the election is taking place. In this case, MT. The
CC's of the election state usually has a time period to accept or reject the counters.
Nominations are handled by the counters as well as the actual vote counting.

Hi all,
Was doubling checking some old messages today and realized that it is time
for election of a State Coordinator - I was elected for a 2 year term in
2005 and that term ends at the end of this month. I should have caught that
sooner. I would appreciate your input on how the election should be
conducted. I would suggest that we use the USGenWeb Election Committee if
they are able. Once the plan is put in place then we'll open it up for
nominations.
