Greetings CCs,
Now that the holiday weekend is over we will be going forward with our
election. The only candidate that I am aware of is myself so this will
be a confirmation election. I know it seems odd to hold an election
with only one candidate but it does show what type of support that the
candidate has in the project as well as being very official in nature.
The election will commence Dec 2, 2008 at 5pm MST. The end of this
election will be Dec 7, 2008 at 12:00 noon MST.
If you have any election questions, please let Annie and Scott know and
they will be happy to help you.
Best Regards,
Karen DJ
Thank you Karen.
The SC election for MTGenWeb will begin Dec 2, 2008 at 5pm MST, and end on
Dec 7, 2008 at 12:00 noon MST.
This evening I will send a voting password with a listing of your name,
county(ies) you coordinate, and a voting password to the email address that
you have on the list provided by Karen. If anyone does not have an email
giving this information by tomorrow morning, please let me know at this
address and I will send it out again. There is always the possibility that
there was a transcription error in the address no matter how careful one is.
Tomorrow at (or as close to that as I can get) I will send to this list a
URL of the voting booth. Click on the link and enter the information that
you received in the email, make your choice from the drop down menu, and
click on the VOTE NOW button. (Yes, it's that simple!)
When you click on the button, you will receive an email back from the voting
booth showing your cast vote, and a copy will be sent to both Annie and
myself. We will hold the vote in strict confidence and report the totals
back to this list without identifying any individual - only the total votes
cast for or against the question being voted upon.
For this election, the question will be "Should Karen De Groote-Johnson be
elected to the position of State Coordinator for MTGenWeb to complete the
current term of office vacated by the resignation of Kevin Haddenham."
Your options are "Yes" and "No".
Again, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me or
