I noticed that the MTGenWeb page uses a widget hit counter. I'm pretty
old-school, and I tend to mistrust anything that allows a third-party
connection. I know widgets abound these days, but from their inception
there have been security professionals who warn against their
vulnerability to hackers. I believe there are hit counters that can be
embedded and that don't call to an outside site.
Just me being paranoid.......
