And if the links are not operational, (as it appears-- any info to
the contrary?) then there would seem to be no motive for the link owner.
Which would tend to point to someone not so much malicious to break
things, as just proving they can do it, not even to ruin GenWeb
service, it would seem at this point.
But it's still a pretty serious offense when caught (or is this
another myth?), so who would risk trouble without a greater motive?
Who are these hackers who like to make people waste time? Smart kids
fed up with what John Taylor Gatto calls prisons, otherwise known as
government funded schools? I don't know them, but am suspicious of
distorted bogey-men with the whole war on tError and chaos of fake
and real computer viruses and such. More time is wasted on phantoms
than fact! :-)
