I'm perfectly happy with my Ravalli County site on the rootsweb server
and I don't worry about ancestry taking data I've posted on the pages.
Uploading to rootsweb is easy to do and the small ancestry information
at the top of the page doesn't bother me a bit.

Thanks Judy, yours is the site I was pondering very seriously. If we can
still use
mtgenweb.org which we have registered than I would certainly like
to investigate this further. The state site does not have much data per se
so that is not an issue for moving other than the time to upload the pages.
What would be the county sites web address for the counties that wish to
move there? I want to remind everyone that as CC of your county, you can
have your county hosted wherever you wish. All you need to do is inform us
of your address for the state pages, inform your neighboring counties and
you are free to go wherever you like.
More input would be greatly appreciated if you can find some time this
weekend.
Thanks everyone,
Karen
