What with all the continuing problems, maybe we should retain a Montana
State exclusive site (one location), and have each county carry their own
specific location so as to eliminate a continuum threat- and without any
embedded referenced site links. We could each store most info on Google (and
use as many Google sites as needed), or other well-managed sites; with a
probably higher protection rate than we now have? If I have to reload, it
will take more than I care to think about.
None of us should be associated with site-management failures at a
continuing rate. I have spent more than 12,000 hours in local research, and
the site re-loading effort will probably take another week on the current
site. I suppose, all others face the same concern. How can any of us load
information about our counties, if we have to re-load? Who wants all that
hassle? For me, reloading is a very grave concern, as virtually every time I
have to reload, I have to redo all of the image links. With one or two pages
- no biggie; but more are a real concern.
I will not reload Yellowstone County onto any site that is not 100%
protected, or at least thought to be so. If adequate protection cannot be
afforded on the current site, I will gladly load onto any "secure" site, and
connect the appropriate links. I do want to reload for another trial, and
see it vanish before my eyes. All of this effort is wasted, and actual time
spent in compiling records and county information is set aside during that
process. Sorry to be so upset, but I will not live forever! I am trying to
compile records and references fast as I can, but now I am stopped.
Your faithful companion.

Hello folks,
Unknown to me we had a break in our service due to a major screw up
with the domain registrar. I have finally gotten this taken care of
after talking to several different countries. We will be back up
within 2 hours and you can bet I will be checking until we are.
Thankfully this wasn't a server side problem, nor a virus (knock on
wood).
