Jim:
Just to let you know:
I clicked on your email link to "webalizer" and was re-directed the 2nd time
to "Know your credit score"
I cannot connect to any webalizer account on my site. It requires an unique
sign in USER and PW, different from the actual site's.

To answer both your and John's questions; these are not emails to me. I'm
used to spam and just deal with it.
Our MTGenWeb sites have a feature called "webalizer" that lets you see where
visitors to your site come from. One of the things it tells you is what
other sites have linked or sent visitors to your pages.
For instance
http://wibaux.mtgenweb.org/webalizer
You can see that if I go down to the section that lists "referrers" most of
them are crap Viagra sites and the like.
I'm sure this was not the case prior to the Great Server Screw-up, but I
can't prove it because the provider has erased the stats before that and you
can only go back to November 2009.
If at all possible, I'd lobby for a new provider. I'm even willing to kick
in some bucks to fund it if that's what it takes.

I'm confused...please bear with me...How do you know who/what/where the
visitors to your site come from? Do you have something on your site that
tells
you? I either don't have the problem, or don't know it.
Just curious and
always like to learn new things about this web stuff. :-) Is there
something
that I should be aware of???
