Thanks Nancy,
We did register, in June.
We got our new passwords.
In looking at our note where I saved the passwords, I find apparently
what we needed--
the current election is #21
The link to find the candidates is:
<
http://usgenweb.org/usgwelections/national-2011/candidates-index.htm>
and the link to vote is:
<
http://www.usgwelections.org/USGenWeb/USGenWebVote.cfm>
I suppose if I'd realized we were on our own to go check when it was
time to vote and recalled that we had a link to vote we could have
been done. The obscurity nearly succeeded in inducing us to not get
it done at all, which may be about as well, considering the dearth of
info on the candidates and issues. We certainly aren't up to sifting
through bickering/discussions. A summary or two would be welcome,
but how to do that without taking sides or being drawn in? :-)
Hope this helps. Meanwhile…
May God bless and keep the Czar… Far away from Us! (… Fiddler on
the Roof. :-)

I too am disappointed that the National elections seem obscure, but
I can
tell you that the vying for the top spot is certainly
controversial, and
the candidates quite different from each other. One need only
browse the
mailing lists for USGENWEB to see that. However, most of us don't
have the

I have
not encouraged you-all except to forward the items I am told to
forward.
Here is the page to look at if you did register before the deadline.

However, if you did not heed the reminders to register, you may not be
able to vote. Please continue to do your quality work in your
necks' of
the woods and don't fret about it.
