Corky,
I spent quite a bit of time browsing through the AncientFaces website last
night and think it is a wonderful opportunity for sharing. I looked for
"gimmicks" "dues" etc... and found nothing that caused great concern.
I saw
their section for the upcoming marketplace and advertising opportunities
and, realizing that is their potential for making money, I feel pretty
comfortable with their offerings. They definitely have an attractive and
easy-to-navigate site with a great deal of potential!
It was fun -- but sad to say -- I didn't recognize anyone yet!!!
Isn't family fun!

Subject: [MTGEN-L] Fwd: AncientFaces Feedback
I wrote to the "AncientFaces" owner with a couple of questiions. 1) Would
they post some photos from Canada I have that are "unknown", and 2) Will
they remain free, and if so, how to they plan to make money.
Here's the response I got.
