Hi friends,
Apologies in advance for sending this message - think I sent it out a
number of years ago. I checked my "out" box and don't think I've
bothered
you with it since then. <G> I don't want to start any type of 'thread'
on
this topic on this list as it's not the place for it, but anyone with
questions can email me privately.
With all of the War news, there is the usual proliferation of Urban Legends
and Hoaxes being forwarded and all of our email inboxes are being flooded
with stories. Some of them are wonderful and, indeed, encouraging. Many
are outright lies and should not be forwarded. I'd just like to urge all
of us to check out the stories we receive BEFORE we forward them. If
everyone did this, the things might slow down. <G>
I normally check out all virus warnings at
symantec.com.
For any story, you can go to
http://www.snopes2.com/index.html
and, if it has to do with the attack on America, their Rumors of War
section lists all of the stories going around, tells which ones are false,
which are true and which are "undetermined". It's a great help.
Blessings to all of you,
Corky
