Subject: Please NOTE: Long Out-Of-Print Sheridan's Daybreak-NE Montana
County History to be available!!!
Sheridan's Daybreak, A Story of Sheridan County and Its Pioneers
compiled and collated by
Magnus Aasheim
"IN NORTHEASTERN MONTANA, bordering North Dakota on the east and Canada on
the north, lies Sheridan County, named for General Phil Sheridan of Civil
War fame and later a leading military figure in the history of the West."
So begins Sheridan's Daybreak I, a history of hundreds of homestead
families and the towns that make up Sheridan County..
The Sheridan County Historical Society and Magnus Aasheim need to get at
least 100 interested people to commit to a purchase of a reprint for the
tentative price of $50 each. Send a reply email, check our the details at
http://www.petersnn.org/daybreakers/communit.htm, pen a note to Mags
Aasheim at Pioneer Manor, 605 N. Sheridan, Plentywood, Montana, 59254 or
call him at (406) 765-2468 stating how many copies you want to order. Let
Mags know by the end of March 2002!!!
If you have a copy of the original on your bookshelf, consider this for a
gift to your friends and family. Sheridan's Daybreak would make a valuable
addition to any library that aids researchers in historical and genealogical
details of Sheridan County, Northeastern Montana or the settlement of the
West. Pass the word on to your local libraries, genealogical and historical
societies.
Please post as appropriate!
