I also did some looking up. I read the archives of Board-L.
Teresa Lindquist is the Representative At Large. So "her
folks" include everyone in the project. Pretty big
constituency for her to be off on her own tangent as she
was. If I followed the threads right, she decided on her
own to take actions that should have been discussed by the
entire board. And she seems to have a definite agenda, which
is not bad in itself, but she tries to further it by
manipulation and behind-the-scenes tactics, which I do think
is a bad thing.
My reading of the situation tells me the same group of
chattering empire-builders who almost crashed the entire
USGenWeb idea a couple of years ago are still at it. I'm
getting pretty fed up with them.
I intend to see how this plays out and see whether the
leadership can bring themselves to their senses before
deciding whether to just bag the whole thing. I have better
things to do.

Lindquist
...I might add that I
did do some "lookups" and it seems that this Teresa
Lindquist was elected to
her post. That tells me that she has the right to
represent
her folks until
her folks ask that she be replaced. As far as I saw, it
is
only the "board"
that wants her out. But, this all gets back to "Shut up
and do genealogy
not politics!"
