Sunset Memorial Gardens is in Helena. I have friends, teachers, and
family buried there. Technically it is in the Helena Valley (outside of
the city limits) on North Montana Ave about a mile before the Lincoln
Highway.
Not bad for someone that hasn't lived in Helena since 1978.

Can anyone shed some light on this question? This was sent to me for
Rosebud County, but I don't know of a town called Ahles. I wonder if
someone else does.
Thanks.

Hi there...
This is a query, and it isn't.
I just learned there was a town by the name of Ahles in your county.
Can
anyone tell me it, and how it got it's name?
Ahles is one of my family names. My greatgrandmother's sister, Mary
Anne
Ahles, died in Silver Bow in 1908. There was another Ahles clan, far
larger
than ours, that primarily lived in MN. We have not found a relationship
yet.
But I really wonder about this town ...
Thanks for any help.
Chris
