Hey Clare,
Since I'm not on the Chat list, I will use this one to echo your
sentiments
and agree that this Flag voting is one thing I'm very proud of. Although
I'm
not in MS to participate, the actions of my fellow Mississippians made me
very proud.
Even though I would have voted to keep the flag, that's really not what
I'm
talking about here. Mississippi should hold her chest high amongst the
other
states for allowing her citizens the choice. This choice (the vote) is one
thing
all Americans should participate in every chance they get. As do most
(all?)
of you, I come from a very long Mississippi lineage who gave many sons for
the very right of voting, regardless of which side of an issue you stand.
This
right is being protected and / or guranteed yet today, with one son in the
USMC,
and another in the USA. And, whoever don't like them apples can..... (fill
in the
blank with your own thoughts).
