Sounds like a BRAIN SCAN should've been ordered, as well!

UPDATE on the cripples...Kenneth is in therapy now and is slowly
regaining use of his arm. Looks like he will have a complete recovery.
Now, you can all have a good laugh...we all have, Brought him home
from the hosp Sunday afternoon. After getting him settled; I went to the
store and wile unloading things from the car; I twisted my left foot and
ankle.
It didn't hurt very much; so I proceeded to catch up on laundry
and things that had gone ubdone wile he was in the hosp. I was "crafting"
between loads of laundry; and as time went by, my foot started hurting, tho
it wasn't swollen. When I was finished with the chores; I found I could
hardly stand and a thorough exam of the foot revealed a really swollen ankle.
I had to get hubby up and we made a large pan of ice water and I
"froze" my foot to kill the pain. We wrapped it in a bandage; he got my
crutches (from last year;s knee injury) and we went to the hosp for an
xray. No broken bonesl so they bandaged it and sent me back home. Now, the
"soap opera" part. Wile trying to get into the house on the crutches; I
lost my balance, fell and broke my fall with my left hand. YEP! I broke the
wrist!
So, back to ER we go and the dr, who has done hubby's 2 surgeries
put pins in it; cast it and put an air splint on the ankle and an
immobilizer on my leg. Only had to wear the immobilizer one day. However
the surgeon admitted me to the hosp so I would be there on Tues. morn for
the aurteorgram (sp).
I have some blockage in both my legs; but the dr. says that can be
fixed at his office without another hosp. stay.
I have heard the saying "blind leading the blind" all my life...we
are the crippled leading the crippled. Hubby has a good left hand and arm;
I have a good right one. So together; we are managing and as stupid as it
may sound; also having a lot of laughs.
Just real slow typing with one hand!
