Hi, Folks -
My appologies for not responding sooner. Had SP with me all day, and more
company later on, which just left. I'm pooped. <g>
Many thanks to all, esp to those who sent notes of congratulations. I'm very
happy to be back in the best state in the Project. :-)
Also, thanks to Melissa and Rose for stepping in and doing a great job in
seeing that the USGW By-Laws were carried out, and that everyone had a fair and
legal opportunity to participate in the SC selection process. Melissa, in
particular, came through for us. She did a wonderful job under trying
circumstances, and we're very fortunate to have her around. If she ever tries
to leave, she's in big trouble. <g>
A special thanks to Nate for his part in helping out the state during a rough
period, and in such a fair and classy fashion. My personal thanks to Nate for
being a most pleasant and thoughtful "opponent." l'd have been content had
Nate been your choice, because I know he would have done a super job as SC, and
I am especially happy to report that today Nate accepted the position of MS
ASC. I'm really glad to know he's staying on.
Over the next week or so, prior to taking office on July 1, Nate and I will be
working to get the house back in order, updating some MS State pages, etc. If
you have any current problems, complaints, suggestions, please let me know.
Would love to hear from you, and see what we can do over the next few weeks to
make life easier for all. This is *your* state, and as always, I'd like to see
that everyone is comfortable and in a position where all you have to do is to
sit back, relax, and build new pages. :-)
Thanks again - it's good to be home.
