Rose,
I just checked the URL I pasted (actually the whole letter from Nancy)
and it went right in. I'm sure it has to do with how busy the server is,
and
your connection. You might need to wait until later in the evening, or
early
in the morning to connect.

Ken,
I copied the highlighted (highlit?) address and the wrapping URL and
pasted
into the address screen.
All I get is 5 minutes of: Connecting to
Ancestry.com and waiting for
reply.
I went to
Ancestry.com and it will open fine.
There is a message about boards on their homepage and I get the same
"waiting for reply signal">
I tried typing just www://
board.ancestry.com and get the waiting for
reply
signal.
I've had this problem ever since the first notice came out that they were
up
for adoptions.
I wrote to the Boards - ADMIN - L(a)rootsweb.com and never received an
answer
from them.
So, any suggestion of what I try to do now.
