Rose,
Almost a year ago, Chris Morgan told me he had sold his last copy of
"Yalobusha Bound" and does not intend to reprint it. Instead, he has begun
work on an updated version which may be out within the next 10 years ;-),
but he's giving priority to a similar book for Tallahatchie County.

Mrs. Diamond,
Y'all know sometimes how funny things run in cycles? I received this top
one last week and the bottom on today. At least they were close,
Pontotoc is on the Northeast edge and Yalobusha joins on the western
edge. Just a funny coincidence.
Recently I wrote to Elliot Thompson for info regarding the Pontotoc
Cemetery Book. I wrote to PCHS,
PO Box 841, Pontotoc, MS 38863. The note came back to me saying there
was no PO Box 841.
However, this is the address on the web site for Pontotoc Co. Has it
changed?
Hi Rose, I have visited the Calhoun Co. Historical and Genealogical Site
and would like to
know if the book "Yalobusha Bound" by Chris Morgan is still available?
My maiden name is
Kilgore and I also descend from the Denleys and Shankles. Would like to
know the cost of
the book and will most likely want to join the Society. Thanks for you
help.
Rose Diamond
who doesn't know anything about the Pontotoc or Yalobusha Historical
Societies :)
