Well, I mentioned several months ago that I was not happy with my surname
indexing. Couldn't find one that I thought was easy enough or looked
interesting. Some of the ones in use by Rootsweb are just to Techno
looking, it's like you have to dig too much to find what you want.
So, I went browsing about Wed. and ran across John Cain's page for Amite
County. I like his setup. He gave me permission to modify my surname page
after his, so far, I've got four pages complete. It will take me the rest
of the week to get all of them done, but I believe that when I am finished
and have the surnames from several years back all together in a separate
section that I will be very pleased and that the "researchers" will be
pleased with the results.

Would one of you send me the URL of a SurName page, I would like to
see
what
it looks like, I think this is a great idea-
Also for those who do not know, I have uploaded the last of the 1900
Tallahatchie County Ms Census, Yea!!!
Also prettied up our index page a little, I was sent a photo of the USS
Tallahatchie in color, it looks great but I am unhappy because it will not
show the bow. When you look at the photo I scanned it shows the bow, but
when it is added to the page it does not. Any Suggestions would be
greatly
appreciated. I cover all suggestions.
