Right now, in MS, I don't want anything to change - but if you had to
leave
us for some reason, your replacement might not be as good to work with as
you are. As you said, I think we need to cover eventualities. I'd like to
see _yearly_ elections for SC, just as for NC in national, but would
definitely want the current SC to be able to run again - I suspect that
most of the time the current SC would run unopposed, but at least that
would offer a vehicle to rid ourselves of a nightmare if we were ever
unfortunate enough to have one, as some states apparently do.
