Hi all,
Not sure if the rest of you got this as well, but I thought I'd pass it on.
Below, find a message I've forwarded-- a publishing company in AL and parts
of FL is interested in publishing family heritage books for counties in MS.
I checked their website and it appears that, at least for AL, several of the
counties (3-5) are grouped together by region and are placed in one book.
The books appear to all run in the $65-$75 range. There's a link to their
website in the message below.
I think I'm going to post a message on Adams County to see if anyone's
interested... sound like something anyone out there would benefit from?
Thanks,
Stacey

Stacey,
Hello! My name is David Bice, and our company is in the final process of
publishing a family heritage book for each of the 67 counties in Alabama.
Recently, we have been receiving questions as to whether we would be doing
books in Mississippi.
We are planning to expand our publishing area to the west of Alabama (we
currently are working on books in the Florida Panhandle also) beginning in
January 2002. Should there be interest in Mississippi, we would like to work
in the state.
We have been told that two companies have been publishing our type books in
Mississippi. One is the Meridian newspaper and the other was Rose
Publishing,
which is now out of business.
Our books are 9"x12, hardbound, and printed on acid-free paper. Families may
submit article at no cost. You can find out more about us at: <
heritagepublishing.net>.
Thank you for your time.
