Okay, maybe everyone else has already thought of this, but I hit the web
today in search of a way of keeping my research handy for when I happened by
the library. Our library's genealogy section, in particular, will not let
us bring books, notebooks or bags (purses, even!) into the research area, so
it makes carrying my research along very hard.
I searched the internet and found a ton of programs which allow you to
download entire gedcoms, convert GED to My Roots database, To Do lists for
research trips and much more. Thought I'd pass along the link, in case
anyone's interested. Many of these programs are free of charge.
