I asked Shari for the qualifications and duties of the nomination
committee so that I could post it here for any of you who might be
interested in volunteering.
Below is her response.

Hi Belinda,
Anyone who is eligible to vote in the national USGW elections
is also eligible for consideration for the election
committee.
As far as the duties involved, what has happened in the past
is that, once the committee is in place, the committee
chair will then ask individual members to work on specific
areas or tasks, such as facilitating the compilation of lists
of eligible voters, overseeing and assisting with the voting
process itself, and verifying tabulation of the ballots.
Jim Powell was the election committee chair last summer, and
I'm sure he could give a more specific list of the various
duties, and I believe Ellen Pack has been on the election
committees in the past and she should be able to give you a
good idea of what is involved.

So there we have it, if any of you are interested.
