Hey gang,
The Motel 6 is ready for you to make your reservations. If you call them
at 601-936-9988 and reserve your room with a credit card that will hold it
for you until late Friday evening. We can raise or lower the block of
rooms until Sept 1. Please keep me informed when you make your
reservations and I'll keep up on this end and make sure they have it all
correct and that I have enough rooms blocked off. I didn't want to be
greedy! <grin>
AS most of you have figured out, I am going to Belinda's for the
weekend. I will be monitoring mail from there just not as often. As we
plan to hit a few libraries and eat alot of veggies!
And Greg's birthday is Sunday, So I'll be back by then ! BTW if you want
to totally confuse one 38 year old send him an ecard! His addy is
armstrsho(a)netdoor.com. He'll never know what hit him!

Linda,
I just wanted to throw this out for everyone. When you send Linda your
handouts if you have copied them onto color paper be sure and send her one
copy on white paper incase she has to make more. Sometimes when you make
copies from color paper the machines will pick up that paper and show up as
black esp. if it is dark colors like red.

Hi Fellow USGenWeb Volunteers... I want to thank everyone that voted in
the first round of this election and encourage you to vote one more
time. Please check Tim and I out one last time and decide who you would
like to lead this Project for the next year. I would appreciate your
vote and the chance to try my style of leadership.
Thanks,

Hey,
Linda, I am an active BAND PARENT. This affliction begins with band camp in
July and lasts until the day after the MSHAA Marching Festival, which
festival takes place on October 14 in Gulfport. It is unfortunately
uncurable.
Somebody PLEASE come up with a sample handout and send it along, SOON. I
have three to do and need to get them done before band season starts (we
have football before and after the band show if anyone is interested.)
Thanks,
Pam GIbbs

Ok Gang,
Here goes! It's 2 months and 1 week and counting. the Fair is Saturday
Oct 14, 2000.
Number uno! I would really like Handouts on ALL counties and Special
Projects. Kind of a what's available or what we are working on type
thing. Nothing Fancy. If you can run copies yourself, about 100 should
start and If we need more I can fly to Kinko's and run off more. If you
can't make copies and want just send it by email and I'll get some done
here. If you make copies email me privately and I'll give you the address
to send them to. After all, Ellen has nothing to do <grin>
Number two! I need to know who is planning on coming. the plan is that we
get together, Friday evening and meet and have dinner and go back to the
motel to make sure all is ready. Saturday the Fair is most of the day so
we will take turns "meeting and greeting" our visitors. Saturday night
afterwards is when we plan to find a restaurant big enough to handle a
rowdy bunch. <grin> and just have an old fashioned get together.
I think everyone is leaving Sunday so Saturday is the biggie.
Number Three! The motel I plan to get our rooms blocked off at is the
Motel 6 in Pearl. this will keep us out of the State Fair Traffic and
still be close to the AG museum. I talked to the Manager and this is what
I found out. Rooms rates are 42.99 for 1 person per room and 48.99 for 2
persons. They DO give AARP discounts of 10%. Rooms are equipped with
dataports for laptops and we will have one adjoining room to meet in. I am
reserving 8-10 rooms for now with the option to increase or decrease by
Sept 1.
So what I need to know is:
What smoking preference.
If you plan to share a room or stay alone.
If you are staying Friday and Saturday nights or Just Friday night or Just
Saturday night.
When I get the block ok'd you can call and make your own reservations and
tell them you are with MSGenWeb. Just let me know you have done so So I
can keep up with if we need more rooms. The Motel phone number is 601-936-9988.
I think that's it for now. So ya'll start letting me know!
Thanks, Linda
